Medical Esthetics Program
Career Training Objective
This program is relative newcomers to the ever-expanding realm of esthetics and esthetic surgery. As newcomers, they often find themselves in the challenging position of defining their own identity, while still under the influence of the groups and individuals from which they arose as with most new fields, an expanding need for services was the driving force for its creation. Traditional estheticians lacked much of the specialized training needed to help care for patients who were preparing for or recovering from esthetic surgical procedures.
